The artist has always been intrigued by fiber and textile and has created original tapestries, clothing, wearable art and wall art for many years.   Please visit her Gallery for a virtual tour.

 

Now, specializing in handwoven rugs made from all new materials including wool obtained from the Pendleton Mills, she creates area rag rugs  for any area of the home or office.    Special orders are welcomed.  Wool rugs should be professionally cleaned but all other fibers are washable.

 

Marion received her training in Weaving and Fiber Art at Hartnell College in Salinas, California and has continued to expand her knowledge and skill over the years.  She has exhibited her work in many galleries and shops.  For the past 20 years she has been a working member of the Valley Art Gallery in Salinas, California and maintains a home studio open to the public.  Marion

Lives in the Salinas Valley with her golden retriever, Rosebud, and her 4 cats, Paula, SweetPea, Delilah and Suede.
